Veteran Reuters photographer Brendan McDermid leads a one-hour primer for media professionals on how to take better still photographs with your phone. He'll cover tips and techniques particularly useful to journalists for news coverage. This workshop is part of our “Get the Most out of your Phone” smartphone photo, video and audio series for journalists.
Doors open at 5:30pm, training starts at 6:00pm.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Brendan McDermid is a photographer at Reuters, where he covers New York City, shooting pictures of breaking news, the stock exchange and the courthouse on a regular basis.
